TALENTS AS BLESSING FROM GOD

Talents are those natural, mental endowments and abilities that God has given to every human being on earth. These talents are the inner treasures God has deposited in the innermost being of your life. You are endowed with different kinds of talents. These talents are blessings from God and should be seen as such.
You must know that you are a talented man or woman. Your talent is God’s gift to you and a blessing to the world. Gifts are meant to be giving away. Blessings are to be retained and preserved. It is in giving your talent away to bless your generation that it becomes a blessing. The world in turn rewards you by exhibiting and preserving the product of your talent.

Around the world today there are museums where works of art are displayed and preserved for ages. These works are product of somebody’s talent put to use and giving to his generation. Your life contained something that this generation is waiting for and your emergence on this scene of life is an attestation to the facts that indeed God has blessed man with something, which he can succeed with.

This further convinced me that in every man or woman created by God there are no materials for failure. You have been loaded with natural abilities and endowments so that you can make something beautiful out of your life and be a blessing to your generation. Do not die with these abilities. The world needs what you have gotten. Are you willing to release your talent to bless your generation?

One of the things God has giving to you as a tool to your success in this life is your talent. Every one of us is talented in one area or another. Many times these talents are visible to us but we do not notice them.
Every human being has more than one talent, but there are always the ones that are dominant than the others. You must find your dominant talent and develop them into strengths.

These talents are giving to us by God so that we will not have excuse for failure in our lives. There are men and women in world today that have left there names in the sand time of history because of what they have giving to the world through the use of their talent. I can tell you not only have they bless the world with their talents; the world has also pay them huge dividend in monetary terms.

Listen to me, it is those undeveloped resources in your mind, in your spirit, in the innermost recesses of your being waiting to be discovered and developed that I am talking about here. Those undeveloped resources and potentials in our lives God want us to discover and develop them.

People are talented in many areas of life. While surfing through the Internet one day, I came across this information by Bob Schwoch enumerating different kind of talents in the showbiz world. There are those who are talented to be on stage: acting, singing, dancing, and orchestra. There are those who are talented in other areas such as Directing, Stage Manager, Costumes Designer, Set Design, Set Building, Painting, Props, House Manager, Usher, Lighting, Sound, Decoration, and Sewing. These people, you will hardly see on stage. They have fitted themselves to where there talents will function best. The fact that you don’t see them on stage does not implies that they are not important. They are very important and those people that you see on stage are not in anyway better than them.

There are also those people whose talents function best in the area of publicity. Such people are responsible for making posters, program, website, Radio Ads, Newspaper Ads, T-Shirt Design, Ticket sales and those who use their imagination to create something beautiful.

Talents in the various areas are giving to various people by God. This is the reason E.W. Kenyon wrote in his book: “It is the developing of the writer, the thinker, the teacher, the inventor, the leader, the business manager, that is hidden deep in you that is important.”

In addition, in some of us “there may be untrained voice, untrained musical abilities, lying deep under the careless, thoughtless exterior” of our lives. You should not allow those talents to die because somebody somewhere needs what your life contained. Your talent is a blessing from God to you and this generation.

KEEP YOUR TALENT
God's talent is in thee. It is the treasure within you. Do not neglect it. So many people have neglected their talent. They are busy pursuing something different from their area of giftedness. They go the university and read courses in areas where they have not been gifted. They came out of college looking for job that are non-existent. When they are supposed to be job creator, they turned themselves into job seekers. They keep complaining about what they did not have while they fail to discover and use what they have been given. Stop complaining about what you lack. Start making a discovery of your talent and hidden potentials. Release this to bless your generation and you will harvest blessing beyond your wildest imagination. Begin to use your talents because it is a blessing of God to you. The church, the society, your country and the world at large need what your life contained. You are a container of God’s rich and raw blessing to humanity.
