WHY GOD GAVE YOU THIS TALENT

1. TO PROSPER YOU

 A talent well dispensed is talent well spent. God gave it to your as a gift. A gift is to be given out. Don’t be afraid of using your talent. The word of God have declared that “whithersoever it turneth it prospereth”. So one reason why God gave you that talent you seem not to value is to prosper you. Don’t die with it. Starve the grave of your giftedness and bless your generation with it.


2. TO BRING BLESSING INTO YOUR LIFE
If God gave you that talent as a gift, then it is a blessing from the Lord and God blessing does not add sorrow to us. Beloved, the days of sorrows and lack are over in your life. The most wonderful thing about your talent is that it is a blessing from the Lord to you. When you use your talent, well it makes you rich without adding sorrow to it. Now you can see why your talent is a blessing.

3. TO ESTABLISH YOU
 Even though I am not writing specifically here about spiritual gift here but the natural ones that God has giving to us. I still think you need to know that all gifts, whether it is spiritual or natural, is still spiritual because it came from God, and the purpose of all gifts or talents is to establish you. To establish means:

1. To institute or ordain permanently by enactment or agreement; to secure or settle;
2. Set up on a permanent or secure basis;
3. Make stable or firm; strengthen (lit. & fig.); ratify, confirm; restore (health).
4. Place (a person) in a secure position; put into residence or occupation; set up in business; appoint (esp. a civil servant) to a permanent post.

These are the definitions of the word to establish. This also means that using your talent to bless your generation God set you up on a secure basis. He will make you stable in all that you are doing. You will become firm and stable in life instead of wobbling from place to place without an aim.

When you are established you become more secured with what you have. You are not envious of what other have that you don’t have and you become stronger in doing what you know to do best without fear. Your futures also become more stable than ever before.
