Stop chasing other people’s shadow. Discover your own purpose and identity in Christ Jesus. Deliver yourself from a negative self-image, which you have crowded into your life from childhood. Your destiny is great. You future is bright.
Do not be like the brothers of Joseph who abandoned their own dreams in order to destroy their brother’s dreams. They left the pursuance of their own destiny just because they wanted to terminate the destiny of their brother, Joseph.
All they were thinking about is the abolition of their brother’s destiny and dreams. They wanted to see what would become of his dream while their own destiny lays hanging and they do nothing about it. Instead of going to get their own dreams from God, they are busy scheming to destroy their brother’s destiny.
Beloved, you will always encounter such people on your pathway to fulfilling destiny. Do not be deterred by whatever they are doing to you because they cannot stop your dreams from coming to pass. Just behave like Joseph. He was calm and well focused. He kept the picture of God’s dream to him in his heart daily believing that someday it will become a reality. He knew he would someday be the savior of the family even though he was the youngest but his brother knew nothing about this. Indeed, Joseph was God’s gift to his generation.
What is the thing that makes Joseph dynamic and unique? He only used the ability that God has giving him from childhood (ability to dream and interpret dreams). What ability has God given you that you can use to make your life and the lives of others better? Find it. The word of the Lord tried Joseph and his dream came to fruition. I pray that your dream will not die. It would be fulfilled in their time by the grace of God that is upon your life in Jesus name, amen.
